Accessibility statement

Edwards VoIP Solutions is a small local business, and this site is built and maintained by us. We would rather hear that something does not work than have you give up and call a competitor — so please do tell us.

The standard we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. The Americans with Disabilities Act does not set a technical standard for business websites, but WCAG 2.1 AA is the benchmark generally used, so it is the one we build to. We say “aim” deliberately: no site is ever finished, and we would rather be honest than claim perfection.

What we have done

• Text and background colours are checked for contrast, in both the light and dark versions of the site.
• Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a clearly visible focus outline and a “skip to main content” link.
• Photographs have text descriptions, so they make sense when read aloud.
• Headings run in a logical order, and every form field has a visible label.
• Pages reflow to a phone screen without sideways scrolling, and text can be enlarged or re-spaced without content being cut off.
• Animation is reduced automatically if your device asks for that.
• Menus and the photo viewer can be opened and closed with the keyboard, including the Escape key.

The site was last tested on September 19, 2026, using automated testing (axe-core) on every page together with manual keyboard, contrast and small-screen checks.

Known limitations

Being straight with you about where we are not certain:

• We have not yet tested every page with every screen reader. Our testing is automated checks plus manual keyboard and contrast review.
• Our installation photos have short descriptions. Some technical detail visible in a photo — the exact equipment in a rack, for example — may not be fully described in words. Call us and we will describe anything you want to know.
• If we add video in future it will carry captions. If you find one that does not, tell us and we will fix it.
• Sites we link to, such as our billing portal, are run by other companies and are outside our control.
